TERM-02 is designed to measure thermal energy, thermal power, flow rate and volume of coolant (water) in heat supply systems. It is installed in an individual heating point of a building (residential, administrative, industrial) and can be used as part of an automated system for accounting and control of energy and energy resources (ASKUE).
THE PRINCIPLE OF OPERATIONThe principle of measuring the coolant flow rate of the thermal meter TERM-02 is based on the phenomenon of magnetic induction, i.e. guidance in the flow of a liquid moving in a transverse magnetic field, a potential difference proportional to the average flow velocity. The calculation of thermal power and thermal energy is based on the data obtained on the volumetric flow rate, the volume of the coolant and the measured values of the temperature difference in the forward and return pipelines.
